Roberto Coin Branded Buyer
The Roberto Coin Branded Buyer is responsible for driving the commercial success, profitability, and growth of the Roberto Coin business across the organization. Acting as the primary liaison between the company and the brand, this role develops and executes merchandising strategies that align with customer demand, sales objectives, and inventory productivity goals.
The Buyer owns the full product lifecycle, including assortment planning, vendor partnerships, financial performance, and marketing collaboration. Working closely with Retail, Planning, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Roberto Coin partners, this role ensures the brand delivers exceptional results and supports the company's luxury jewelry growth strategy.
Responsibilities
Business & Trade Management
•Analyze weekly sales, inventory, and performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
•Lead weekly business reviews with Roberto Coin and monthly meetings with DSA partners.
•Manage inventory productivity through stock swaps, RTVs, replenishment strategies, and KPI management.
•Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and inventory turns.
•Conduct regular store and assortment reviews to optimize performance.
Buying & Assortment Planning
•Manage the end-to-end buying process and critical path execution.
•Develop, plan, and present product ranges and strategies.
•Lead selection meetings and ensure timely execution of key actions.
•Propose product assortment and pricing.
•Maintain accurate product, pricing, and assortment data.
•Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards and operational processes.
Product Strategy & Development
•Conduct market, competitor, and SWOT analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
•Perform regular showroom and market visits, driving follow-up actions and improvements.
•Monitor luxury jewelry trends and customer preferences to inform assortment decisions.
•Collaborate with Roberto Coin on product development opportunities and collection enhancements.
•Participate in vendor strategy and development meetings.
Retail & Cross-Functional Partnership
•Partner with Retail leadership to identify sales-driving opportunities and maximize brand performance.
•Gather and leverage showroom feedback to refine assortments and improve client experience.
•Support trunk shows, client events, collection launches, and high-jewelry presentations.
•Provide product expertise and selling guidance to showroom teams.
•Collaborate closely with Planning, Marketing, E-commerce, Visual Merchandising, and Operations to execute business initiatives.
Market & Competitive Analysis
•Monitor industry trends, competitor assortments, pricing, and market dynamics.
•Attend trade shows, vendor meetings, and market appointments to identify growth opportunities.
•Evaluate competitive performance and recommend strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
Team Collaboration
•Build strong cross-functional relationships and champion best practices across the organization.
•Coordinate with Showroom Planning & Development on project execution and communication.
•Ensure alignment across internal teams and external brand partners to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Buying experience, Junior Buyer level or above within luxury goods, jewelry, or related categories.
•Proven experience managing the full buying cycle from assortment planning through execution.
•Demonstrated success managing vendor relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
•Strong understanding of retail merchandising, assortment planning, inventory management, and key retail KPIs.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail merchandising systems (SAP or similar ERP).
•Deep knowledge of branded luxury jewelry, with Roberto Coin experience preferred.
•Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and drive profitable growth.
•Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
•Strong product instinct with a passion for luxury jewelry, trends, and innovation.
•Ability to prioritize competing demands and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong negotiation, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional evenings and weekends.
