Payroll Specialist (Temporary) (0184)

Job Objective

Under the general supervision of the Senior Human Resources Advisor, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing and administering the payroll process for 400 employees as well as well as performing day to day operations for the Human Resources Department. This role is temporary and full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing of payroll bi-weekly
  • Review of hours from timekeeping systems
  • Review and update commission reports and adjustments
  • Ensure incentive pay such as bonuses, hurdles, and contest payments are entered into the payroll system correctly
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • ADP Workforce Now experience required
  • Commission payroll experience preferred

Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws and how they affect payroll administration
  • Excellent client service and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
