Marketing Manager
As the Marketing Manager you will gain insight into marketing strategy across diverse programs and will be a connective fiber between teams. This role will have direct access to leaders across brands, sales, and product teams, and can grow across multiple disciplines in a uniquely multi-functional space.
Responsibilities
- Execute the marketing strategy and its implementation across all distribution channels (online, in store, digital, social, OOH) while maximizing allocated brand co-op resources
- Ensure consistent maintenance and accuracy of all brand partner marketing plans across all mediums, channels and touchpoints including digital, social, OOH, events, activations and all paid media
- Maintain and report accurate financial forecasts, and collaborate with finance, buying and retail teams.
- Partner with buying teams on product launches and buying trading calendar
- Liaise with retail, operations and real estate teams on new showroom openings/renovations
- Ensure media plan is executed in partnership with the national media agencies and the Director of Marketing
- Define specific co-op media plan for each brand partner, diversifying the strategies utilizing a digital and mobile first approach
- Develop and maintain relationships with WOSG network of mall center management teams to disseminate and broker partnership marketing opportunities for tenants
- Manage, maximize and monetize media and visibility opportunities with retail mall management partners for all retail locations.
- Analyze market opportunities and identify local, regional and national needs to amplify marketing initiatives
- Share marketing activity and performance to both local market and international teams
- Suggest and recruit new vendors based on the needs of the business and evolving marketplace
- Requires an entrepreneurial spirit for marketing and business needs
- Embraces ambiguity, independently charting a path forward, making judgement calls with early derived information
- Personally create compelling, client focused marketing content with data and ROI
- Build strong, cross functional relationships with interdepartmental teams and brand partners
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
- Business related travel when necessary
Special Projects
- Marketing support for special projects across WOS, Mayors, Betteridge and Monobrand Division including developing media kits, marketing presentations, and 360 campaigns
- Communication of key project calendars, timelines, and performance to stakeholders both internal and external
Marketing Campaigns
- Develop pitch / recap decks for brands
- Manage budgets for paid media with brands and agency partners
- Develop benchmark KPIs
- Manage campaign communication to internal and external brand and venue stakeholders including monitoring of third-party communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, advertising, marketing, communications, or related field
- Required experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in luxury marketing
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize business needs
- Attention to detail, savvy with keen negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and to influence decision-making in an ever-changing landscape
- Excellent copywriting skills that can be translated into the development of marketing materials
- Knowledge of Media and Publisher industries
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver high-quality written and verbal content, present persuasively
